Looks like it should keep itself flipped, but doesn't, because on your upkeep, "last turn" will have been the opponent's turn. Perhaps "transform Ratwere if no player discarded a card since your last upkeep"?
Grizzly Bears and Prodigal Sorcerer don't need colour indicators, so nor do front-side DFCs. The colour indicator is equivalent to text saying "~this~ is green", and is only needed on objects without a mana cost or whose mana cost doesn't match their colour. (See the Oracle wordings of Crimson Kobolds, Ancestral Vision and Evermind.)
Really? Surely that's the only side you need it on.
Choose your own adventure:
1) Because by the time it's face down, you'll already have seen the face up side; whereas you might never see the face down side.
2) Because it is the only side that actually exists. Double sided cards are a horrible abomination that exist only in carrot-fueled nightmares.
fixed
How's that?
Like on Wererat, this reads like it wants to say "since your last upkeep" rather than just "last turn" (which is the opponent's last turn).

I like it. It's simple and elegant. BTW, you don't need the color indicator on the day-side.
Updated my Lycanthrope cards to double faced transform cards.
They may still need a bit of refining to work properly with the new format.
