Huh, yeah - I can see how that might be common enough to keyword.
One issue that probably came up in alpha for this set - "tap" is three letters long. "freeze" is five. It seems stupid, but given how many times the word appears, it probably matters. After all, they very very quickly moved to the
symbol for even more space saving.
Maybe in this world, the word 'freeze' eventually goes away completely and we get a {f} symbol? :)
Welp. My poor knowledge of Magic cards makes me look silly again :)
If this set has 'powerful duals' like the frontpage comment said, then I don't think this is too strong for the format, lol.
It does seem rather good. But, well, it's a legit reprint of Tangle so it's a bit hard to argue that :)
Still, the more modern version seems to be up-costed a bit - Clinging Mists. It probably depends on environment.
This seems super undercosted. Maybe
?
The orientations of colors in the wheel is moot. Mainly because color hate effects aren't done any more. More importantly is emphasis on balance of all ten color pairs, making concepts like allies and enemies colors irrelevant.
In fact there are 12 combinations to orient the five colors around the wheel (excluding mirrors and rotations). Why should the canon be based on only a single permutation and exclude 11 other possibilties?
That said, would be fun project to organize all 12 variations of color wheel according to their motifs.
