Vent Sentinel seems like a comparison card? but it's 1 damage per wall (albeit repeatably); where this is like 3-8.
And maybe that's reasonably the same then? This does more, but it's a one-shot. How many uses are you gonna get of a sentinel before the opponent offs it? Maybe 2?
So this should probably cost a bit more than it does?
Good point; similar cost-range and lack of options though. Jandor's Saddlebags is cast, to use; while Thousand-Year Elixir is ridiculous upside on cast, use.
Could maybe be deliberate. Pair it up with some ridiculous overpowering art of some kind of ridiculous exploding volcano (fire raining down on the onlookers) on top of a display of animated jungle-fruits (attendees lying on the ground, poisoned), surrounded by ballerina tigers (threatening to eat the onlookers); with a tiny little school drinking-fountain in the middle.
As for cost... gaining one life a turn isn't really very expensive nowadays. Though historically it used to be all on its own! Braidwood Cup. Anyway; nowadays - Fountain of Renewal costs that part at 1 with cycle-from-play as an extra upside. Tapping down a creature is pretty good - but you're paying 3 to do it. Crown of Empires suggests that only costs with a seriously strong upside.
Buuut it's also almost the only non-creature artifact that I can find with "Tap target creature". The other one is Tyrant's Machine, which costs a bit more to activate.
So to do both - is very pushed, is still quite pushed.
Really? I was hoping the activated abilities being simple made them common.
Those work because there's only one ability per card. With three activated abilities, it's got to be an uncommon or rare cycle
I was inspired by I was inspired by the cycle of cards including Bastion Mastodon from Kaladesh.
This seems very busy for a common
This cycle exists because I'm bad at designing artifacts and didn't know I'd fill up the common artifact slots I gave this set.

Could this be a 5/5?
@dude1818- Yeah, I never got the an evocative sentence for the flavor text.
@Vitenka- It untaps [a creature], not taps [them down]

That flavor text is so incredibly underwhelming
Unsure of what to cost this.
