Maybe simplify?
Until end of turn you may play that card. If you don't, ~ deals 1 damage to each player.
@Vitenka- What can I do to make it clear the damage only comes from cards that were exiled by Impassioned Ogre and not played?
@SecretInfiltrator- Was that it, just breaking the paragraph?
I think you want the "At the beginning of each end step" part to be the beginning of a new paragraph.
Currently it totals up all the cards ever exiled, rather than the card you didn't use this turn. Not sure if that's intentional or not from your description above.
Once again, I'm unsure on wording. If what I'm trying to do is unclear, I'll try writing this out again in non-Magic wording. So when an opponent draws, you exile the top card of your library and you play that card until end of the turn, which is pretty normal for red nowadays. For all cards that are exiled this way each turn and are not played, thus left in exile, this creature will deal 1 damage per card to each player at the beginning of the endstep.
I would have liked to include unblockable as well, but that's not worded as such anymore, so I don't know if I could still word in a way to do that.
...creature to noncreature. I didn't know this type of effect wasn't allowed to counter creatures as a one-drop.
Was originally a human and gave trample instead of hexproof, but I decided I needed more trolls, so I switched to hexproof as the green mechanic to give out.
May change name to something more Magicy later on.
Have "UEOT" at the beginning or end of the card?
It's suppsoed to the jotunn equvlanent. Jotunns weren't always giant-sized though. For this set anything that would be a jotunn gets typed as giant, ogre, or troll, based on the individual concept. Troll will probably appear the least. Blue has no monocolor ogres. I felt that left giant as the most reasonable choice.
Tinz Giant.
Honestly, I don't like this design and had for a long time envisioned making a black snake for Jormungand. I noticed I had made three other mono-colored legendary creatures, so I figured I'd just make sure each color got one. The poison aspect doesn't work in modern blue, but I could do the growing thing. I tied that to the island theme serpents have in Magic.
I wanted to make an aura giving the idea of becoming a Valkyrie, but just flying and first strike by themselves wasn't too exciting for an uncommon aura. I've always liked Armored Ascension and that plays well with the realm mechanic of this set, but I still wanted a valkyrie reference in the name and didn't think a functional reprint served a purpose here, so I added on first strike and increased the cost.
