Humm, this seems like a nice implementation of planes. It's either a quick opening for a one shot, or a representative of the plane coming over to help you.
Would it make more sense for the implementation to be like echo instead though? Get the effector creature, but have to pay to stabilise its portal?
Yes, though I'm also experimenting/curious about using things other than creatures like enchantments on the 2nd side too. An enchantment can represent the feel of a plane in a way as well.
I'm not sure about that change, it would make things less direct and add extra costs or a downside to the mechanic, though it is potentially potent as is and I'm trying to generally keep the mana costs in the mid to high range for its implementation. I think as long as things are costed appropriately it should be fine.
Replaced regenerate with recursion to hand on death.
