I could add an enabler line like "When this ETBs search library for a card named "this" reveal it and put it in your hand. Then shuffle your library"
Guaranteed 2/2 every turn?
Common build for the set/block constructed to interact with Lupin Pack, Summon the Pack, Caller of the Fang and Lupin Packmaster.
Basically I needed a second common wolf and thought this could be interesting instead of a vanilla or french vanilla.
I'm not sure I can see anyone bothering, though. At least Relentless Rats came with a built-in Coat of Arms so you could feel like you might dominate. Even if you get loads of these out, it's still just a bunch of 2/2s.
I think this could cost and still barely get played.
EDIT: ...Heh, snap. :)
Funny thing is, this would probably be fair if it was a 3/3. Heck, if you squint, it could be fair as a creature like Nessian Courser... but I suppose that ability should be worth something.
for the unenlightened this is just Relentless Rats with the +1/+1 per dropped so it can sit at common.
Obviously this is a straight reprint of Lone Wolf just with a class added
Copied from my Design Challenge entry Call of the Pack as I didn't want to remove it from the challenge "set"
Why thank you, this has been hiding away in the depths of the Snap nonset for quite a while. Its nice to see it appreciated.
I decided that it was time to move all of these cards out of snap into their own set where they can shine.
Light has Illuminate as main mechanic, Dark has Morph/Spellmorph, and they share Shadow.
The Order wants to "balance" Shadowsun so there is no day or night just (as the name says) Eternal Twilight.
Ooh. Very nice. Knight of Meadowgrain can indeed be hybrid these days! The traditional Black Knight / White Knight parallelism is strong and flavourful; the only hybrid capitalising on it that I can remember is Stillmoon Cavalier, and this version is more flavourful than that :)
