This is quite weak IMO.
The 'you control' restriction doesn't seem necessary.
The card I was reminded of is Liliana's Specter.
These feel similar to rhystic spells so I doubt that they would be that popular. I mean, these "any may activate" abilities are all drawbacks. I don't see how the Talisman type adds anything to the game and the cards that specifically refer to them (Mage of the Five Stars) irritate me in their seemingly unnecessary parasitism.
Also, this is a strictly worse Guard Duty.
Does the 'nonland' restriction really need to be here?
"Human Spirit"? That's new. It's a bit like "Human Zombie" which perhaps should be a thing, but currently isn't.
Feels a bit janky when compared to Prophetic Prism.
Functional reprint of Recover.
Doesn't sound as nice but this could also be worded as:
Permanents can't be attached to ~.
I can't think of any scenario where it would be more beneficial, but it could be in the long run.
This is "bendy" in a somewhat similar ways to Mystic Calligrapher. I don't recall there ever being a
card that would recur enchantments - or planeswalkers for that matter. With a quick search on gatherer I only found Saprazzan Bailiff.
Doesn't this introduce a memory problem if used on a creature with bequeath? There's no way to track this, right?
Probably not an issue but both this and Moontoucher have "conditional flying" with similar bodies.
I'm not sure what you mean with "perforated cards" - are these like something you poke holes at? That's would be... unpractical?
Couldn't you just like exile these and use them as reminders that way? Also, in a case like this, I would have them rather gain all abilities than "any number of". Why would you not want to give all of these abilities anyway?
Do you see this ever being cast for its non-reflex cost? The cost difference is just
so it seems exceedingly unlikely to me.
Not quite sure about this design yet. Impetuous Sunchaser has the same set of abilities at
, with 1 less power and no gravedig clause. There's also Utvara Scalper, which is about the same power-level wise as Sunchaser. I figure the
cost and the rarity shift, as well as the general terribleness of Impetuous Sunchaser should let this be strong, but not too strong, in limited.
This is also the smallest/cheapest phoenix ever.
Text is a bit long for the common, but it's an Act of Treason that can only gain control of small creatures and the creature must be blocked. Usually act of treasons are used as a way to push damage through, but this one is more geared for removing cheap creatures by running them into something bigger.
Probably going to go with
or
Spirits as an archetype. I figure since there are a lot of Spirits into this set, might as well reward people for drafting them. It'll be a secondary archetype at best, so not too much attention will be paid to it.
Also thinking about removing Multicolor uncommon slots until I've got a better feel for what each color wants to play.
Forgot that "Aven" isn't a creature type.
Now a Spirit.
Not sure if this is the right way to go, but I've decided against the following bequeath abilities: 1. Stackable abilities at common 2. Negative abilities at common/uncommon; not sure if this makes it more or less confusing.
Mantis -> Snake
Removed
cost from 2nd ability.
Made it slightly more cohesive. Swapped

Porting cards over to MSE. Turns out I can fit the library clause, though it's a little bit of a tight squeeze on here.
