Text is a bit long for the common, but it's an Act of Treason that can only gain control of small creatures and the creature must be blocked. Usually act of treasons are used as a way to push damage through, but this one is more geared for removing cheap creatures by running them into something bigger.

2 or less -> 3 or less. Universal change.

That's 30+ words or so. Around three times the NNWO word limit. Blasphemous!

Nice idea, but Hmmmm. I think we can make it ffit, by abusing reminder text:

"Target cheap creature must be blocked. It attacks."
(Cheap creatures cost 3 or less, no, this doesn't care if the creature isn't yours, is tapped, etc.)

But yeah, this should be uncommon :)

Yeah. I'm thinking of changing this to a Wrangle variant or something, but I like the effect at common... If only I had a keyword for "must be blocked".

At least the last sentence could be truncated a bit...

> Until end of turn, it has haste and must be blocked if able.

Steal target cheap creature UEOT; it attacks with lure.

That's.. yeah I give up. Stealing control of creatures just isn't an 'at common' effect.

Of the eight printings of Act of Treason, all of which are fairly recent, seven of them are common. Looks quite common to me.

Cards with the phrase "converted mana cost" are automatically red-flagged which affects this particular card along general text length.

IMO you could keyword "must be blocked" as "taunt" or something. Eldritch Moon used skulk exactly thrice and IMO this has similar possibility of being "evergreen testable". Well, obviously skulk was introduced in Shadows of Innistrad in which it was used 10 times but whatever. "Taunt" could have some issues, say, when it compels opponents to not to play creatures when you have a big creature with the said keyword since it would "eat them up" quickly. That doesn't seem nice to me. So it seems to have similar issues to skulk where large creatures with the keyword would be ill-advised.

Changed from Lure to Menace.

Yeah. This was made before I created Tongshan Pathmaker, and I like that better as the common red Lure card. This is adjusted to menace because I'll be damned if I make a strictly worse Act of Treason. In regards to the converted mana cost being red flagged, I think I'm okay with that. I've never really paid too much heed to red flags under NWO minus the "4 lines or less" and the "not complicating combat" clause.

@Vitenka, I'm not sure if you're still running with the NNWO joke but what makes you think that temporary steal in Red isn't at common?
