Pretty sure that they wouldn't print it nowadays. But it has two built in limits this doesn't have. First - it hits everything; including your creatures and you. Admittedly, you know it's coming so you can avoid playing utility creatures; but it's a limit. And secondly - it only has 2 toughness itself; so you cannot stack multiples (Admittedly; this is too expensive for getting 4 in play to be reasonable.) And any single extra pint of damage will finish it off. This is a lot harder to kill.
It's not completely impossible (though yeah, totally should be red) just very very ouch. "You run utility creatures? Now you don't, guess you lose."
Maybe in a 'battleship magic; set, to really push the metagame towards nothing but huge stuff?
Putting a lot of different evasion keywords together adds not much to the design. This could be straight unblockable and at least would be in-color (which menace is not really).
Landwalk has been abandoned for a reason.
While white/blue could have trample on a rare, the card should still have mechanical ties to the colors used to cast it.
agreed will shift color, and make it rare.. pretty good too
this is big in the lore, but I will take this into future reference when making lands, thank you.
no idea. I like these cards thoo
definitely uncommon, probably a 3/2 as well :D
besides it is a reprint of an earlier card, so no chance im changing it, I really like the depth it adds to the sets..
I dont see a problem with having similar cards \o/
okay I will make it unblockable

Hmm. I find this interesting. Would you gentlemen also insist that Plague Spitter need to be a rare nowadays?
Yeah, it is definitely too oppressive for an uncommon.
It feels like it'll shut down a lot of decks.
This feels like a red card: repeatable pinging of creatures.
This is a design I could see. Sadly the only nonbasic land in this set is white-blue: Spirit Glacier.
Caverns are usually black-red unless they are used for color-neutral lands.
This is just Meandering River - something that totally can exist in a winter landscape. It just would be frozen over.
Why is snow thematically linked to life gain?
Evasion + hexproof is a potent combination. Compare this to the uncommon Ascended Lawmage. This is Aven Fleetwing +2 and that card is a great common.
Too similar to ((C85655)).
