Too similar to ((C85655)).

I dont see a problem with having similar cards \o/

besides it is a reprint of an earlier card, so no chance im changing it, I really like the depth it adds to the sets..

I didn't know this was a reprint, but are they both? It's enough to change one of the two.

yeah probably.i coudl change this, making it similar to Arzan Bishop

btw how do you reference existing cards?

The timing on this is hard to grasp on first look. This shouldn't be a common.

> btw how do you reference existing cards?

Do you mean existing like Runeclaw Bear or existing like Intaki Worker?

I thought white could get ETB effects... i could simplify this ability to

When Spirited Pacifist enters the battlefield, another target creature cannot attack or block this turn

I could also add a 2 CMC clause

By the way, don't worry about me, i figured out how to reference existing cards now.

Black Lotus, see? Ooh, shiny!

It's not that all ETB effects are problematic, but this one is secretly two different effects depending on whether you cast it during your precombat main phase or your postcombat main phase.

Your proposed "simplified" ability wording would take care of that by only having any effect if used before combat, but it makes little sense to stop attacking if it has no flash.

Add one mana and flash? Or replace "during the next combat phase" with "until your next turn".

I like that idea. I was actually going to say "this turn", which might be slightly less powerful, but I'll use yours, because it is as strong as it can be
