1w > ww: dedicated white decks will now get this derp
4th ability: copy next spell > copy next creature
Not sure what you mean with the comparison between Souls, but Attendant is an optional, so it's a little worse than the Warden. The thing that may push a deck over the edge would be the soul sisters deck in Modern, but I really think that it'd be okay, Inkmoth Nexus is all over the place.
Soul Warden is indeed very strong in multiplayer; unfortunately, Soul's Attendant rather less so, for precisely the same reason that she exists at all. There are three of them (Essence Warden) and that's not caused much problem, so I guess it's probably not a problem to have a fourth.
Ultimately I concieved of him being the champion of the outcast faction. Therefore his abilities are all particularly relevant to creature combat, except the last one. The name thing comes into play because mages don't usually exist in society on this plane except for the outcasts. So the last ability is definitely up to change.

Yeah, that was the intent. However, I don't think that this will be that interesting or fun, and will ultimately mean a lot of board complexity where people are going "Ok, so there's three of X/Y, I'll just cast this Pacifism on that creature... wait a second...". It needs the axe, but I'm not sure what to change it to. Perhaps triggers if someone has cast a spell this turn? That makes it kind of similar to Skepticism though...
Did you read my comment on Reanimation Ceremony?
Thanks for reminding me, I had been meaning to fix those for a bit.
Glad you brought this up, because I don't really want to name it either one of those names because I feel like they imply that he should do something explicitly with the spirit tokens rather than doing something more subtle. This could change. The fact that the card is in the set probably won't change, I think it's a really strong card for the format. Also, as the days of the Soul Sisters deck are long gone in standard, I'm not biting my nails on this one. If it would push Modern over the top, whatever, I guess I could just do Soul Warden or something.
How does the "servant of mana" apply to his abilities? Also, it's odd that his last ability doesn't relate to creatures, considering the other three, and that it's almost ripped exactly from Chandra, the Firebrand.
It's also bizarre to me for green to do this.
Is Skepticism supposed to happen when anyone casts an instant or sorcery, or just opponents? Because Trinket Slinger and Witchhunter Zealot activate off of opponents.
This is similar to Metalcraft.
Do we need another Soul Sister?
ALL the points?
Sadly, I don't get the reference.
