Seems... to work, at least. I'm not very keen on the memory issues though. Ten turns down the road, seems rather likely to lead to "So this creature had the blue and black mineral? And this one only had another copy of the black... or was it the red...?" If you made the cost "Exile ~" then it could sit attached to the permanent as a reminder.
Well... drat.
Bah humbug.
I think this set wants to use both, purely for flavour.
When a land goes to the graveyard from the battlefield; if you are constructing stuff out of it. And "Dies" for when evil nasty things happen because of it.
Um, yes. Yes it is :~)
Yes. Except, heh, the way that Multiverse decides whether to use old-style or new-style booster collation is by whether the cardset has any mythic rares. It was with the introduction of mythics that they moved from 15 cards to 14 cards + 1 basic land (+ 1 token or tips-and-tricks card). So at the moment the Booster link will not include them in the basic slot. The Multiverse booster functionality was only ever going to be a rough approximation; the collation of Planar Chaos demonstrates that I'm not going to be able to create a sensible way for people to make any collation they want.
So at the moment "basic" means "won't show up in boosters at all". If you're adding mythics then yes, you'll get one per booster.
It'd be more normal to just let them be lands at common though. Most sets have one if not a cycle of common lands.
If only DF had Orcs, Orcish Settlers would be a great reprint. You could change its name.
Aren't the DF goblins more combat-oriented than concerned with land-manipulation?
A 0/1 deathtouch is a somewhat odd thing to find at common...
Same comment as on Cave Crocodile.
Heh. This sounds odd precisely because this isn't actually terminology Wizards would use. "Dies" is only used of creatures being put into a graveyard from the battlefield. This would just be phrased as "Whenever a land is put into a graveyard from the battlefield".
the 5 lands made 'basic' - That's the 'one per booster' setting, right?
Not sure of the effect, but needed to reserve the name.
Right - now THAT is a dwarfish mechanic. The more dwarves back at home manning the pumps, the stronger the guards are. May keyword it.
