Random Generator gave me Wall of Blossoms and Lone Wolf. Not many square defenders out there.
Random Generator gave me Linvala, Keeper of Silence and Phyrexian Rager. Split Second, huh? Wonder if I plan to do more of that. Things to consider down the road.
Random Generator gave me Prismatic Circle and Surge of Strength. Funny card, colorwise. In a set like Invasion, this would probably fly, but would be out of place in Oddyssey. I'm a little bothered by red getting protection from any color, but I have to keep reminding myself that it's on the back of help with that color. Red can get Pro-Red? Sure. Red can get Pro-White, if you discard a White spell? Why not. Red can get Pro-Green if you discard a green spell? Hmm... odd. I'll get back to you on that one.
Random Generator shot out Jayemdae Tome and Mana Short. Mana Short again? I wonder what the odds of getting the same spell twice is? Actually, I was wondering what the odds of getting the same spell twice at the same time, but even after 500 swings, that's got to be very odd. I remember hearing a podcast on RadioLab where a statistics proffesor bets against his class of 30 students that there will be a duplicate birthday among two students in the room. 1 in 29 out of 365, then 1 in 28, then 1 in 27 and so on is evidently likely to give you a duplicate, so what would the odds be here? (Note: Possibly a Rhetorical Question)
Random Generator gave me Stunted Growth and Darigaaz's Attendant. I am no fan of Stunted Growth and its ilk. What are the chances that your opponent had those three cards in his hand, because he can't cast them for whatever reason, or they are just extra lands? Fair? Arguable. Fun? No.
Luckily, if I wanted to make this a BRG spell, I'd have to change the effect anyway. Took me a little while, but I like this concept. Powerful discard, but your opponent gets a Library of Leng for the moment to deal with it. I could see this spell, by itself, costing

. While it would be very powerful, it wouldn't wreck games like Plow Under used to...
