Random Generator gave me Prismatic Circle and Surge of Strength. Funny card, colorwise. In a set like Invasion, this would probably fly, but would be out of place in Oddyssey. I'm a little bothered by red getting protection from any color, but I have to keep reminding myself that it's on the back of help with that color. Red can get Pro-Red? Sure. Red can get Pro-White, if you discard a White spell? Why not. Red can get Pro-Green if you discard a green spell? Hmm... odd. I'll get back to you on that one.
It's certainly interesting. Currently X doesn't seem to be defined though. I assume it's the discarded card's CMC? Strong with Emrakul.
Hmpf. I thought that was covered, but I guess it wasn't. Strong with a lot of high CC creatures, but so isn't Surge of Strength. Of course, back in the day, there wasn't any relevant high CC creatures to cast. Scaled Wurm perhaps?
Awesome if you can get a double strike creature and put Autochthon Wurm or Progenitus on it and swing for 30+ or 20+ unblockable. But that's probably not actually that likely.
Red Combat Trick Slot.
That Pro-color bothers me. In retrospect, I think this card should have been white, and boosted toughness. Anyhow, for now it sits in the workbench.
