Random Generator gave me Sengir Vampire and Morbid Bloom. I'm not sure about the casting cost, but I'm pretty sure this is fine. Sengir needed a shot in the arm, anyway, and, without external help, he'll never make more than four rats. A timely Titanic Growth could get messy, though.

"The dead creature" is amusing terminology, but "that creature" would be a little more standard.

I wonder if 'dead' will start getting purchase in the future. But, you're right. Editing.
