Random Generator gave me Kitsune Mystic and Conch Horn. That fairly settles it. There's enough flip cards for me to push more mechanics into flip card territory.
I did what I could, but I don't think you can rightly improve on Kitsune Mystic. That's one cool card.
Random Generator gave me Villainous Ogre and Heart of Yavimaya. I may have twisted the Heart of Yavimaya a bit too much to be noticeable, but I like it, so it will do. For a brief moment, I thought about saying "Champion an Ogre"... but I don't think Demons are big on making anything a Champion...
Random Generator gave me Aura Barbs and Tranquil Path. I've been avoiding multicolor cards when I can, but there isn't any way to get out of this one.
Random Generator gave me Overwhelming Forces and Circle of Protection: Black. Right over the plate. It is sad how many of these old cards care about color. And tapping your opponent's land at the same time. If I was to go by Mashup: the Gathering, I would assume that the game rules originally had an alternate win condition where, if you tapped your opponent's land 100 time, you win. Flashfires would have been the Sinkhole of its day, then. Why would you want to destroy your win condition?
No, I wouldn't either. I'm sure they recognized how open-ended that ability was and they gave it an open ended name (though, the evidently couldn't stop but put their thumb in the pie for "Bushido").
Suggestion created in the feedback repository here.
The name "Channel" is pretty flavour-neutral, though. I wouldn't say it's "tied to Kamigawa" in any meaningful sense.
Nudged a little better than that. Heaven help the person that makes this deck.
Random Generator gave me Shimmering Wings and Qumulox. Lowered the card's cost because I don't think Affinity for auras can ever be broken.
