Random Generator gave me Ardent Militia and Survival Cache. That's like a nice slow ball tossed directly over the plate. There are only two snags with this card.

Vigilance is a bit out of place. I might toss it, and,

I don't know how many players will get that you gain the life, then do the "Whenever". It wouldn't work quite the same way before 2010, but it still worked back then, so I think we're fine... After all, most players want to do what's in their best interest...

Needs some blue... Maybe "pay U, if you do, draw a card" then you can reduce the cost back down to 4W.

I'm trying to keep multicolor out of the set, since its far too easy to just add extra colors when doing a mashup. I do have a cycle of off color activations... but I want to keep it a cycle. I don't like just tossing around themes without supporting them.

It's a little off color, I admit, but seems acceptable to me. I don't really feel a need for this card to be well-costed either, since it's an enigma. I'll see what other people say, though. I'm very aware that what I like and what the average player likes are two very different things.

Joz may like to note that this is only as off-colour as the original source card Survival Cache is. White has a minor theme of drawing cards conditional on the life total: there's Convalescent Care as well, and I think there might be another one or two.
