Actually it was over on Bennat, Learned Follower.
I think it was in an email. :-)
Did I? Ha, sorry! I did a search for comments by me, but must have phrased it differently last time >.<
And yes, thank you very much! :D
You already brought that up once. :)
I would be honored if you did that. Just be sure to give me a full report on which cards you take, how they perform, and how people receive them. I haven't any friends who are interested in custom cards, so none of my designs have ever been played with.
By the way, did you get that thing I sent you?
Seeing this card reminds me. Last time I went to a Bring Your Own Cards draft, I culled the best 45 cards that I'd made in all my time on Multiverse (narrowed down to ones that stand reasonably alone without a set to play them in). It was great fun. But I've used up all my material. This is the kind of card that I'd utterly love to take along next time the friends in question do that kind of event. So I was wondering, would it be okay if I were to bring a selection of your cards instead of my own, if and when I next go to (or arrange) an event like that?

I have a propensity for making quirky cards.
Whoa.
Looks like this costs
and is rare, according to Drownyard Temple.
That's a sensible instinct for caution. But at mythic, every colour gets 4/4 for 4 with big upside: Indomitable Archangel/Jazal Goldmane/Ojutai Exemplars, Conundrum Sphinx, Erebos's Titan/Phyrexian Obliterator, Cyclops Gladiator/Obsidian Fireheart/Thunderbreak Regent. (Though hmm, I wouldn't have guessed that black would need the most intensive coloured mana there.)
You're probably right. I'm always hesitant with P/T when it comes to artifacts, but Wurmcoil Engine sets some precedent.
On a mythic, I'd expect this to be square-stats, 4/4 for 4. Since in duels all it does is hatebear a few odd mechanics.
I think there's enough precedence for the reanimation. You could do "if that creature would die this turn, instead remove all damage from it and gain control of it," but that might be even less Boros. I think just cut the activated ability clause.
Yeah, this is one of those instances where the mechanics I want to use to represent the character don't fit that character's colors. This could be a good example of bad design.
Red does get fighting and white does get a little reanimation, but yeah, this totally feels RB or GB.
A color pie and mechanics nightmare, I know.
You're right.
Should probably be once per turn ala Karador, Ghost Chieftain. Way too easy to set up infinite combos otherwise.
