I'm not surprised. Looking at Font of Mythos she perhaps ought to be a bit more expensive, in fact.
Yeah, you're right it doesn't actually work. Dude's suggestion seems sensible.
I could see that argument. If you squint, this card is a lot like Force Void. The card advantage isn't as guaranteed... but if the blue player plays it right, it sure can feel that way.
I got Jon to play a few games with me. His general opinion of my cards is that they are too strong. He's of the opinion that this is stronger than Mana Leak.
I played with her. She is very strong.
Four --> Three. May need to be two.
You can either give it the Animate Dead treatment or change it to the functionally equivalent "When the creature ~ haunts dies, its controller exiles it and chooses target creature. ~ haunts that creature."
In retrospect... does this even work? Wouldn't the creature this grants the ability to lose that ability as soon as it starts haunting something?
Rather more fiddly than Felidar Sovereign. I think this is an alt-win card more in the vein of Laboratory Maniac than Felidar Sovereign, and I think heavily-Johnny cards like this are better kept out of mythic rare down at rare.
I literally had a dream about this card.
Hey, dude... how about Magnetic Theft when your opponent attacks and you're already at 40 to win the game?
lol.
Oh. So you just gain yourself life? That's boring.
Note that it's damage, not combat damage. Prodigal Pyromancer likes it.
I am a Johnny. I guess it works with Mirror Universe or Magus of the Mirror. Actually, equipping this to Kavu Predator would be awesome. That's about it.
For Johnny.
But... why?
Yeah, seems reasonable.
Gosh! Heh, OK, I managed to hit the one exception to the general rule. Tahngarth, Talruum Hero or Cyclops Gladiator or Durkwood Tracker or Gargantuan Gorilla or Karplusan Yeti or Predatory Urge or Stalking Yeti or Tracker or Vein Drinker, then.
