It's been a long day. As an intern designer for Magic: the Gathering, it's been your job to put stickers on the latest set in development. After applying the final sticker out of a pile of 5,000 cards, you place the box on top of a pile of other cards in a storage closet, when Mark Rosewater barrels into you.
Are you still here? Great! I couldn't find anyone else in the building. It seems that everyone on staff is going to the going away party. We've got a problem, though. One of the sets is late in development, and two cards have been rejected from it. I'd design two new cards for it tomorrow, but I'd rather have something in development's hands before then, and it wouldn't look good if I skipped out on the party. Could you design them?
We don't need anything in particular, except they have to be rares, since those are the slots that are open. Also, the color doesn't matter: Development shot down a cycle of cards because the set has too many cycles, but they like the 5 cards equally, so they don't seem to mind which 3 we keep.
The big problem is that that the artwork has already been commitioned for the cycle, and is too tied to it flavor-wise, so we can't use that artwork. We've got five spare pieces of art we haven't been able to place, so make sure to base your card on the artwork of one of these. Let's see... we got
