Which seems simpler. Unless you meant it to be a permanent ability that rogue gains? In which case, you probably want to mark it with some kind of counter.
Also, you need to at least reminder-text what 'steal' means, sadly. I assume it's something like "They discard a card at random, it sits in exile, and you can cast it as though it were in your hand"?
