"Miner" seems unused potential. I walked through my memory of tolkien, seeing what fit but hadn't found a place yet.
And pairs with "Merchant".
I also considered "Smith", but "artificer" covers most of the same thing. Not all, but enough. But maybe more normal swordsmiths should be artificers, not only people making gadgets.
