There's enough cards that could be messengers (instead of soldiers or another type) it might work as a new type.

Here there's a messenger-lord that loots each time a messenger attacks, with a bonus if they're blocked.

ETA: Assuming "messenger" and "angel" should still be distinct :)

This is an interesting way to encourage your opponent not to block. I really like the creativity.
