Another 'affects cards' colourless sphinx. This one will usually be used on your own hand as a colour fixer; but the potential for using it on an opponent is also very nice. Again - you don't get a choice. Opponent's CMC3 removal can only target your stuff? Bad luck.

Seems reasonable. It'd be painful if you did need to give yourself card disadvantage to play your 3-drop, so surely the main point of this is as a potential card-advantage discard spell. Mainly wants to be used after Distress / Duress / etc so you know what 3-drops they've got, but could be fun to play it blind.

Mmm. I guess it's unlikely to ever be mixed-mode in a given deck. Is it too good, in colourless, as a discarder?

I was thinking it might be worth using to, e.g. cast a single blue gift in a red deck; but I guess you're unlikely to splash little enough for it to not also be with splashing some other mana producers. It's not like there's much {u}{u}{u} worth splashing.
