Maybe it should scry only one (scry 2 is unusual at common for incidental scry), but it's worth mentioning that Bone to Ash is {2} {u} {u} . Unless other factors with blue were at play, I doubt the card is OP in and of itself.

Yeah, this is another in the long list of "I want Counterspell. Fiiiine sigh - Cancel+Upside, I guess.

Though, uh, they don't usually get to be common. Very aggravating that would be :)

But again, being on the opposite side of this is actually really punishing. Scry 2 on a card for a debatably "core" control card, this sets up for a lot of strong lines of play.

This isn't a disgrace. It is solid and likely chronically underrated.
