Wow... Giant Growth on tap is so much less exciting than Ancestral Recall on tap... :P
See also Thriss, Nantuko Primus.
Woah, didn't know something like this had actually been printed. Are the abilities too weak?
Well, the second ability is much better than Arcanis' second ability. But considering the fact that Arcanis was bonkers, the only thing you cared about was protecting him.
It looks balanced to me, considering this and a bunch of token creatures is going to be a mess. Trample seems rather unnecessary here, since its very unlikely you would choose to attack with Arcanis (and even if you did, it would usually only do one or two points trample damage.) If you really wanted to make this card a bomb, you could replace Trample with Hexproof... but I prefer cards that are balanced more than cards that live up to the expectations of unbalanced cards.
Yeah, the second ability trumps the regenerate part of Asceticism, and that is decently powerful. While Giant Growth on a stick might not be as powerful as Ancestral Recall I think it's neat to see the power levels of the first and second abilities switched.
thanks for the feedback, guys! I'm going to get rid of trample for now.
trample was out of place
