See Challenge # 112. Vedalken come across to me as a race that would primarily be found in Teruga, so I wanted to make a Terugan one.
Is this meant to be a group hug card? There aren't that many uses for it otherwise...
Nah, this guy hates on combat tricks. He was created with draft in mind.
Giving an opponent's creature hexproof doesn't do what you think it does, then. That would just protect them from your combat tricks. You have to word this like Vines of the Vastwood if you're trying to make it a pseudp-counter.
Would this work? "Target creature you don't control gains protection from opponents UEOT."
Not with that wording. Try "Target creature gains protection from its controller UEOT," or "target creature can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control UEOT."
Use the wording from Vines of Vastwood which could be used to prevent opposing combat tricks. Or just grant shroud :P
