Created for Challenge # 109, and inspired by a Goblin Artisans comment where someone tried to create one land representing the board game Caylus's four favour tracks. I thought the four abilities would be better suited to a cycle of four cards rather than smooshing them all onto one card.
I chose white as the recurring colour because white is the colour with most flavour ties to "castle" and "building", and because one of the 3 blocks for building a castle batch always has to be food.
This card represents the VPs track. I wanted it to just make the opponent lose life (as that's the most direct MtG representation of "gaining victory points"), but that felt very wrong on an activation including white mana.
This is strictly better than Orzhova, the Church of Deals. Given the amount of comments on that card complaining about how expensive it is to activate I don't think that's a big problem.
It's possible that white isn't the best choice as the constant colour for this cycle (Castle of Victory, Castle of Resources, Castle of Currency and Castle of Construction). Perhaps it'd work better to look for four abilities matching "gain resources", "gain money", "gain VPs" and "build a building" that can be paired up with the different green-and-X colour pairs: , , , .

I was about to comment that all of the abilities except this one would work better in
color pairs, but it looks like you beat me to it. :)
