See Challenge # 108.

I tried for ages to think of a card about the people with rayguns, but ended up focusing on the old-school science fiction style of the big moons. I love how the retro art looks on this card.

I tweaked the templating a lot, but I think this could still be better. I'm not sure if it should have a T for 1 option, but it didn't fit. I also considered having you discard any number. But exactly two felt simpler to understand, simpler to template, and hopefully better flavour.

Obviously any card, especially one you can play for free, that permanently accelerates your mana is one to watch really closely that it's not broken. But hopefully this is ok, since it ETB tapped, and you have to have the lands in hand anyway, so it only really sets you forward one turn.

Originally you exiled the cards under this to show it was "turned on" but then I decided it should just always be on, and the lands could be discarded instead.

fix mana symbols

Nice! As you say - very strong, but not an incredible boost, as you would have just played those lands normally otherwise.
