Ok, so gain life whenever someone casts a red spell, and go fetch a common from your sideboard/collection.

Oh well, that's pretty easy. Gain life whenever someone casts a common.

­Angel's Feather is the new style of Ivory Cup (I can't remember the red name, but there is one) and I like that, sticking with that style. This is amusingly just as easy to use on your own spells as a mono deck; but you'll plausibly have other problems if all your spells are common.

Name: Iron, Wish, Star... Wish upon a Falling Star? A common falling star physical artifact thing? Meteor. Done.

Rarity: Has to be common, as flavour-wise that's what it does. Probably really ought to be uncommon though.

Cost: It's very comparable to the feather, so 2. Amusing to wonder whether the uncommon or rare versions should cost more or less though? (Probably wouldn't be an issue, they'd probably have different, stronger, effects too.)

All the rules problems of the wish happen here - different printings of a card have different rarity; rarity doesn't exist as a thing that can be referenced, it's only printed on relatively modern cards... Rarity shouldn't exist as a play concept at all. But it COULD be done, easily enough.
