Not a perfect entry to the challenge, but I finally came up with something.

Welcome back to Rabiah!

I was going to make it phyrexian, but I didn't think of anything.

I'm suddenly unsure that the judgement of solomon is in islamic tradition at all (I assume it's not in arabian nights), but maybe close enough?

It's a splashy spell which could be in a duel deck, and preview a return to Rabiah.

Has there ever been a "destroy two target creatures" spell? It seems there's nothing between Murder and Plague Wind except maybe Hex?

This started with just one target creature, but it was basically "like murder, but occasionally worse" which wasn't very interesting. This one at least has an interesting trade-off where you get their second best creature, though it has to be so expensive it might never get cast.

Any better suggestions for tweaks, or costing?

He's in the Qur'an. It would be a pretty big oversight to ignore Solomon's celebrity status:

As for destroy two target creatures... I don't think there's been anything that straightforward, though there should be. Ashes to Ashes and Dead Ringers, but nothing without clauses that I know of. I guess you charge {3}{b}{b}{b} for that privilege? Maybe more? Tough to say.

I do like this card, by the by. I'm a big fan of both Barrin's Spite and Retribution. How could I not like this?

Aww, I was expecting: Unless target player sacrifices a 5/5 creature, you gain 5 life.

Awesome. Funny that such a white character should have an iconic spell named after him in blue-black.

I think at uncommon or lower this would need to be seven mana, indeed. But at rare you could probably get away with being a little cheaper, even if just six. It's clearly powerful, but as a splashy duel deck preview card is allowed to be (not to mention as a two-colour rare sorcery).

I did stop to wonder about colour, but this is just how it turned out. I'm not sure what colour Solomon would be; he was white on his previous card, but he's normally famous for being knowledgeable, wise, and just, which suggests U/W.

I think there's also a strain of self-aggrandisement which could be B, but that's not normally dwelled on. (It's probably more blatant with Saul and David.)

I'm not good at costing splashy things. In a good situation, this is a three-for-one, which seem to be quite rare even at expensive costs. So not sure.
