For Challenge # 075, based on Brothers Yamazaki

I wanted something that synergised with Brothers Yamazaki rather than doing the obvious copy of allowing two Yamazaki planeswalkers, although that would have been very interesting too. After all, presumably only one brother would have got a spark :)

I debated on the abilities and I'm still not sure. But I wanted a reference to bushido, a way of supporting legendary creatures, a way of copying creatures, putting a potential blocker onto the battlefield, and doing something useful when you have yamazaki out without spelling it out. And this was the way they fell into three abilities.

It's still wordy though. Several planeswalkers have 20+ lines of text, but much more than ten often looks cramped.

Fun. The ultimate looks somewhat overcosted given it's just a legend-friendly version of Parallel Evolution.

The ultimate is rather win-more; I wanted the copy effect somewhere on the card, and all the possible ultimates were overrun-y.

Come to think of it, I avoided having the -2 be "copy" because that encouraged you more to have a small number of bomb legends rather than a whole lot of legends, but I didn't think of having it be "copy legend with CMC at most" for a cheaper cost. But then I'd still need another ultimate.

Note parallel evolution only copies tokens, and does it for all players, so this is considerably better in two ways.

In fact, "copy each creature" has probably not been printed because it's confusing if you have to remember which copy was of which card, but hopefully people can keep generic tokens paired with the original creature to show which is which.
