For Challenge # 065

Clash, Flash, Flashback. and Crash It's nothing like the keywords; it takes from the card.

Thunderclap seems to suggest the creature-damage permissible for "sac-a-mountain" is a bit lower than this. (There's also Fireblast, but that was never pointed at creatures anyway.)

But I do like the impressive name that risks confusion with both clash and flash.

You started me wondering about a mechanic named "crashback" now...

Crashback! Return that land from your graveyard back to your hand!

I don't have a problem with 5 damage to a creature. Thunderclap was a fine card, but I don't think anyone was threatened by it... and it was very rare for players to sacrifice that mountain, so most times it just played as a 3 damage spell for 3. Meh.

Now if this card tried to get better than Snuff Out, I think you'd have a decent argument...
