Created for Challenge # 052. It's just Relentless Assault split across two payments; what harm could that possibly cause? Probably could even be uncommon, right?
If this had been printed two years ago, it probably wouldn't actually even need the "untap target creature" part to be format-warping.
move to white and reconcept
Actually, you know what, let's be really evil and make it white. Waves of Aggression shows white can get this effect too, right?
What happened two years ago that makes this sick and wrong, especially in white? Eldrazi?
I'm presuming there's something that brings a creature back from the dead when you attack, but I don't know what it is.
Ohhh, Sun Titan. Yes, this is sick.
I don't think "~ is broken if you combo with the titans" implies that ~ is broken. But.
Indeed - well done! I was thinking to deliberately make something that'd be easy to throw into any deck with a Sun Titan and would go moderately degenerate. It's not worse than Splinter Twin-Deceiver Exarch, but that was pretty format-warping itself.
Classy, Alex. I just thought the card was moderately too good...
Yeah, it's awesome we can get some examples where it's not obvious, but in retrospect is obviously broken.
