For Challenge # 052. Normally, I like to hang back and see what other people come up with, then come forward. But this bugger jumped in my head and I couldn't help but think "Evil Mark Rosewater sure loves his engine cards...".

I have a specific, and nasty use for this in mind. But I wonder if someone can break this worse than me...

LOL. Yeah, that seems good. Normally sacrificing a creature of comparable cost is a decent brake, but I agree this is probably broken.

I'm not sure exactly what I'd do with it; you presumably want something with a very powerful ETB ability, and possibly generates mana or recurses into library from graveyard?

Breaks pretty damn badly with undying creatures; though it's not infinite it may be nasty enough.

It's good with evoke. Pay {1}{b} for Shriekmaw, add {1} and turn it into a Mulldrifter. Or vice versa.

It makes things that you've snuck in via Sneak Attack permanent, but that doesn't usually mean much worse than Sneak Attack on a huge fatty anyway. It lets you circumvent death triggers on things like Mimic Vat or Splinter Twin. It gives you a lot of ETB triggers with Nantuko Tracer, but nothing broken there... hmm...

Hm. Priest of Urabrask/Gix? Bogardan Hellkite? You ideally want a cheap create you can get on the battlefield for less than its full cost, and then transmute than into 4+ broken ETB abilities..?

Scornful Egotist into big things.

Heh, with Scornful Egotist. Unfortunately, there are no 8 casting cost Wizards... but the Egotist is a Human now, so feel free to snag a Gigantomancer.

The thing I was thinking of when I made this was Ember-Fist Zubera and family. Pack your deck with 25 Zubera, chump block until you get this enchantment on the table, then start piling zuberas in your graveyard.

Mostly, when I thought of that, I assumed that there must be something even more borken, and commonly used than that, and figured the card was on the right track. If you want to play the card 'fair', Elf-ball seems full of cards you can abuse this with. Especially ridiculous when you consider how this works with Wood Elves... It's like getting 3 forests into play for free.

Priest of Urabrask/Coal Stoker also seems like a healthy start. I do like Bogardan Hellkite at the top of the curve. I don't know if this card is easier to work around than Dragonstorm, but it might be. If you wanted to stop at the Titans, however, then let Sun Titan pick up some more things to sacrifice while you're at it, I'd understand.

Really, though, the Blazing Effigy style cards seem ideal. Cards that love to see lots of creatures go to the graveyard, like Blood Artist, should be happy too. Combine with Second Sunrise or Patriarch's Bidding.

Oh, and if you just want to sacrifice the same creature over and over again, feel free to use something like Guile. Since Guile will keep shuffling when it goes to your graveyard, you know have something like "{1}: Hexproof" which will keep triggering Blood Artist. You don't even need two Guiles for that... one will do.

Haha. Yes, Zuberas or Wood Elves are indeed a little too good with this one (although frankly I'm glad to see something make good use of Zuberas). Excellent submission for the terms of the challenge - nicely done! ;)
