For Challenge # 051.
Since I've never done any of this; I decided to mash. So: (CMC = P+4 = T+4) meets ... Llanowar Druid
Cool. Untapping lands is very strong, so this may be doable.
My first thought is a 1/1 for gg3 with 'tap: untap all forests'
Bear umbra and Nature's Will, indeed, suggest this is plausibly costed.
Rude Awakening is the same cost for a one-off of it; but it's also got a more flexible option. All the rest need a combat tap; not just a plain old tap. That difference is worth worrying about... Patron of the Orochi suggests I need the rider; but that this creature could be allowed to be bigger. Woodland Guidance is a cheaper one-off that has a risk.
So ok; I think this is printable as is. It's a "We have to be VERY careful before we add this to the set" banner card... but I think it's about the right cost.
For the challenge, I'll make it 2/2 - for the mash I think I'd rather it be 1/2.
I think, to avert fears of "OMG THIS IS DOOOOM!" I'll make it a 2/2 for 6, rather than a 1/1 for 5.
I think this is better as a large-art card with a stark piece of rules text; rather than putting flavourtext on it. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.
