Challenge # 046
This, though, is a tribal hoser in Mythic. I would imagine a lot of players being very upset with its existence. The card seems pretty cool, though.
This isn't a tribal hoser so much as a land hoser. As I read famine (on the only card with reminder text for it), this ETBing will destroy/exile all your lands. In return for that, you get to sac three more lands to donate it to an opponent.
I'm pretty sure I'd never play it.
I'm pretty sure that Sorrow meant 'sub-type' when he said... oh hold it... maybe he didn't. I mean, what exactly does Blight Plot share a type with? Lands I guess. Huh. Well that plays much differently then I thought.
Yeah... I guess the only way to use this card efficiently is to play it on turn one, then play a creature on turn two, then use it to exile your opponent's lands on turn four, by exiling yours. It would work, and be fair... but I don't know if fair is the ultimate goal of card design. Even more annoying would be the whole "He's got that land on his side of the table, so I don't play my cards (lands) because if I do they will be destroyed", which is a game that both players can participate in when this is on the table. I'm glad they haven't reprinted Armageddon for a while now. I don't know many people who think it would be good to reprint it, unless they are imagining winning the game with it.
