For Challenge # 042. For the last submission, I wanted to try out a different idea. Instead, this card assumes that we're on a Plane that is dominated by one meddling Planeswalker, that takes on various guises and is constantly meddling with the populace. So much so, that meeting him isn't rare at all... it's an uncommon event. I chose Mairsil (who's only a wizard in The Gathering Dark story line... he's getting an upgrade, and a 'but just before I died' sequence), because in The Dark's story line, he used all five colors of Magic, and liked to jump back and forth, playing different parts and roles. They didn't call him Mairsil, the Prentender for nothing. I also chose to do the black one, since that one was the most likely to reference the existance of other Mairsils in the set... here, he's Lobotomyizing his own handiwork.
I don't think this is worded properly. For example, as it stands, the +2 ability reads, "Target player chooses one of the following -- You discard a card, or you lose 2 life."
