Created for Challenge # 029. On the one hand, this is just a tweak on my Psi Disruptor. On the other hand, I think it's definitely a good candidate for a futureshifted mechanic.
I like this. I was trying to come up with a way for a permanent to be controlled by NO players, but it never made sense. This makes sense.
Oh, I see that your Psi Disruptor does that. When I tried it, I was basically trying to get the creature to act on its own, but that's complicated.
Let's say this is enchanting a creature, and it attacks a player who controls Contested War Zone. Does the "all players control me" flag rub off onto the War Zone like a virus?
Also, is a Homeward Path activation supposed to override this effect or not (since the owner already does control it, it's just so does everyone else)?
I think Homeward Path does override this one, just like a Crimson Wisps would override a use of Shyft's ability making it black-and-red. Or for that matter like a Homeward Path activation would permanently undo a Dominate even if the creature's owner had cast a Threaten that turn.
But there definitely are rules problems with this. One category is things which say "creature's controller chooses" such as Necrotic Plague and Master of the Wild Hunt (or Barrin's Spite on two creatures each enchanted by one of these). They're a problem with the Psi Disruptor too: Floral Spuzzem alert!
Played at the Bring Your Own draft, this required a hilarious addition to its reminder text: "(It can't block itself.)" Still suspect it doesn't quite work, but it was fun.
