For Challenge # 028. This card makes an assumption leap that you know Magic mechanics well enough that you may not recognize this as completely wrong. I mean, if I could turn base metals into gold, and I was a Planeswalker, I probably wouldn't use that ability to get more mana. I'd probably just buy out a small nation and chill. This makes me think that perhaps there are too many lazy Planeswalkers. They could be captains of industry, shipping various cartels of needed supplies through the blind eternities. Instead, they act like a bunch of spoiled yuppies, only caring about their own needs until they find that it was all too easy to fulfill them, and now they spend their afternoons crashing, or carousing the planes.

But, yes, if you don't think about it too hard, this makes permanents (and maybe the occasional stolen creature) gold. Don't think too hard, or the card blows up.

Heh. Did somebody mention ReedRichardsIsUseless?

BTW, image is dead for me.

Haha! He certainly is...

I'm not sure what the second comment is in reference to. Can you not see the image, or did I accidently grab the Philosopher's Stone from Harry Potter? I have no idea. I never saw that movie.

Heh. I can't see the image; opening it in its own tab yields " Forbidden. You don't have permission to access /blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/philo-stone.jpg on this server."

Weird. I can still see it. Let's see what happens when I change the web address to a similar image.

Yep, that's fine now.

Might be slightly more subtle as "target permanent is all colours (this effect doesn't end)"

I did think about doing something like:

Put a Gold counter on target permanent.
Permanents with gold counters on them are all colors.
Permanents that are all colors gain "blah, blah, blah"...

But, figured that in the end it was better to cut to the chase. I could see this as something that has only one purpose: to take all your stuff and paint it with the colors of the wind. While I would find that amusing, I assume other people would find that to be a rather useless Mythic Rare.

"Artifacts you control are all colors. {t}: Target creature you control is indestructable until end of turn"? :)
