Another attempt at the "Apples to Apples" mechanic from Challenge # 024.

I'm not sure how it would play. In fact, you should always be able to get the better of the deal since you don't have to choose a card, so either get a 5/4, or get a better spell that your opponent had been saving if you play it at the right time. OTOH, I love the idea that the opponent might be able to bluff you by revealing a card that looks better than this, but they have an answer to in hand.

Ignoring the bluff element, 5/4 without evasion isn't THAT stompy; maybe up the cost to uu3? Then again, each opponent is probably going to show you the least useful card they can, so maybe as it is is fine.

As a card, I love it! I'm not sure I see the Apples to Apples connection, especially "Distinguished", but it's a great design independent from that.

Thank you! Huh. No, I didn't think I could manage anything "distinguished" (I'll assume the creative department make the flavour fit :)). It seemed the obvious interpretation of the apples mechanic to me. Each other player chooses one card from their hand and shows it to the active player. The active player chooses one of them. The one whose card got chosen gets THIS card as a reward. But I've learned that whatever I think is obvious other people don't see at all, and whatever I think is subtle other people think is WRITTEN IN BIG LETTERS ALL OVER THE FRONT, so I can never get something at the right level :)
