Oooh, I like the concept. But that's a bit of a nasty bombo with equipment. Maybe they should die off at end of turn instead?

Really strong against artifacts where activating the ability isn't necessary to gain value. Bident of Thassa, for example. Oh, and any artifact creature. You probably couldn't pay the activation for Phyrexian Snowcrusher anyway. ;)

But since all of this is based on your opponent just happening to have the perfect artifacts for you to clone, I don't see it being a real problem.
