Created Vexatious Bey and Viashino Nettler using Ire.
Created for Challenge # 145 using jmgariepy's Ire token. The simpler counterpart to Vexatious Bey.
Created for Challenge # 145 using jmgariepy's Ire token.
As with most of these wacky tokens, I imagine them being used by multiple cards, in order to ease the mindspace comprehension complexity of each one. So I imagined an uncommon to go with this: Viashino Nettler.
Made Summoning Ritual using Human
Added token Dragon

Using Human. I wasn't sure about the double-faced token, in many ways it makes more sense than a double-faced card since you never need the back of the token. But it would also be convenient if it's an effect you can represent with similar tokens if you don't have that exact one (substituting a 1/1 something else instead of a 1/1 human, etc), so I looked for an interesting effect where the tokens became vanilla after one turn.
Yeah, FWIW, I deliberately didn't put haste on the token so it could be used for haste or non-haste elementals. I wasn't sure that was correct.
"Enchant Creature" -> "Enchant creature"
We need more tokens, do we? Okay, have Weapon and Human. The thread for the latter contains suggested text to create it!
Token for use with Challenge # 145.
Proposed creation template: "Put onto the battlefield a 1/1 white Human creature token which can transform into a 3/3 black Demon creature token." The card that makes it will have to provide some means to transform it too...
Token for use with Challenge # 145. This is fairly wordy - the generation text would need to be something like
> Put a colourless Equipment artifact token named Weapon onto the battlefield with "Equipped creature gets +1/+1" and "Equip
"
- but it has the upside of having been discussed in multiple places around the internet already.
For this token only, if you think your design would be better with "Equip
", feel free to edit this token before submitting your design. I could see it going either way, depending on the needs of the set and the mechanic.
FWIW, it's okay to create tokens with haste when the actual token in question doesn't say "haste" on it. Goblin Assault did that - the Shards of Alara Goblin token doesn't say "haste". It's assumed to be memorable the turn you do it and not matter after that. (Which technically isn't quite true - change-control effects make the presence of haste matter - but it'll be pretty rare that those are used on a 1/1 token.)
I like the flavour of this pair.
Used this token for Oliven, the Stormcloud and Axthren, the Vulcan Peak.
Added Oliven, the Stormcloud and Axthren, the Vulcan Peak, using Elemental by Jack V. We're low on tokens... gotta make some more.
For Challenge # 145, using 's token Elemental. See Axthren, the Vulcan Peak for notes.
For Challenge # 145. Axthren and Oliven, the Stormcloud are intended to be lesser gods tied to specific locations. I wasn't sure about giving them the enchantment type, but I figured consistency was important.
In case it isn't obvious, Oliven is a storm cloud that rains (taps ground creatures) and shoots living lightning bolts (4/1 tokens). Axthren is a volcano that soots the sky (taps flying creatures) and shoots living magma (4/1 tokens). I wanted the tokens to have haste, so I got a little cheesy and gave all creatures haste when you activate the ability.
