I have created Woeful Eye and Close Their Eyes. I will probably revisit this later when I'm not half asleep, though.
For Challenge # 008.
For Challenge # 008.
Annoyingly, Titans are actually Giants. I know! I know! When you print that many cards that include a different creature type, you'd figure they would have their own type by now. But Wizard's usual response to this is to add a creature type to what's already on the type line (It isn't just a beast now, it's a Harpy Beast). I suppose "Giant Titan" doesn't sound very cool...
Clarified the wording - you were right it was kinda misleading
You need to create a Lord AND a tribal Spell for your chosen creature type.
Note: The chosen Type must not have a "Lord" type creature already.
Heh I just had an idea for a "silly" Lord/Spell combo

Clash of the Titans
Tribal Sorcery - Giant
Each player puts all creature cards with Titan in their name from their hand onto the Battlefield.
Elder Titan

,
: Put a creature card with Titan in its name from your hand or graveyard onto the battlefield.
Creature - Giant Lord [8/8]
Other creatures you control with Titan in their name get +1/+1.
Please Note: The above 'cards' are not meant to be 'serious' cards, just a silly idea I had whilst clarifying the challenge.
Edit following jmgariepy's post - Now it is a true Titan Lord. true you can now drop Titanic Bulvox amongst others with it, but why?. Great Commander for a Giant deck though :-)
Just for the record Darkheart, the challenge is to make a Lord for a Tribe that has 6+ creatures? Not to design 6+ cards? (My first read of this, I assumed the idea was to make a Lord with a Converted Mana cost of 6+, but pretty sure that that is wrong as well).
Good plan. Challenge Accepted.
Hi all, this is my challenge idea. For this challenge a "Lord" is defined as a creature that gives other creatures of it's/a specific type +1/+1 Lord of Atlantis OR that requires a significant number of that creature type Supreme Inquisitor.
For the record I am doing Centaurs (as they are in my set).
Hope everyone likes the idea.
To clarify a Lord for the purposes of this challenge: It should be non-Legendary; It must give an unconditional +X/+X and/or a keyword ability to other creatures of its type OR it must have an ability that requires you to tap one or more creatures of that type for an ability that doesn't tap the lord itself.(see examples above)
Sure, but when people cast him, they'll be wishing he worked slightly differently so that they could get both.
But it adds a little stategy: 6 damage now, or more attackers later? Basically, if the total power of your creatures is 6 or less, play him first main phase. 7 or more, second.
Hm. Maybe the EDH rule should have been to allow mana symbols matching those in the commander's text box, but only in text boxes, not in mana costs. Then something like this would let you play mana myr, and use legacy weapon if you could, but not make it automatically a five-color deck...
I agree with Alex on the color requirements.
Lay of the Land on a one-drop, that can alternatively be an X/X for X if you have all 5 colours. Sounds good to me!
I think I'd expect a Myr commander to require a colourless EDH deck rather than enabling a 5-colour EDH deck.
Heh, yeah it would be kinda whacko wouldn't it :-)
Changed it to a counter for each land you control to tone it down a bit. Also dropped it back to rare and changed it to tutor up any land.
It's name - Fon - is a tribute to Magic's past anybody know the ref?
So... if I play with mostly Tri-lands, this is a 16/16 for 5? Crazy.
I would express this as "Kicker

". It doesn't get around the commander tax either way, and there's little harm in letting you have the search anyway if you're paying at least 5 for the creature.
For Challenge # 007
An Idea I had for a mana-ramp general that also enables a 5 colour deck.
