Hm. It's a little irritating that he's a 6/5 haste that you'd like to have attacking in the first combat phase, but you need to cast him after your other guys have already atttacked in order to untap them.
But it adds a little stategy: 6 damage now, or more attackers later? Basically, if the total power of your creatures is 6 or less, play him first main phase. 7 or more, second.
Sure, but when people cast him, they'll be wishing he worked slightly differently so that they could get both.
