Not that this isn't cool, but I'd also think it neat if this guy gained landwalk equal to the land that came into play. Kind of like a reverse Excavator.
As I posted the challenge I figured 'd better post a design
I give you (((Master Ovinomancer)))and his (((SHEEP)))
I made Runebreaker and Rune.
For Challenge # 050, along with Runebreaker.
For Challenge # 050, along with Rune.
Highlander
Next: [Instant Immersion]
For Challenge # 049.
Changed effect order to "align" with colors.
Oh, and I really like the mechanic, Alex, whether it's inelegant or not.
Ha. I was probably subconsciously influenced by that, Chris.
The "Faa" I immediately thought of was John, leader of the Gyptians.
Also, "I never liked the Corrs anyway, bunch of whining girls".
Oh, and BTW, I finally got around to creating Phyrexian and Mirran watermarks. These still aren't great - they haven't got the drop shadow that Glistener Elf etc show - but it gets the idea across. I'll be adding them to the watermark dropdown next time I update the Multiverse code, but in the meantime you can use these URLs: Phyrexian watermark Mirran watermark
Faa, Servant to the Cause
Next: [Highlander]
Created for Challenge # 049. Link gave a truly intriguing name. "Faa" sounds like an ethereal kind of name, a faerie or elemental or elf. But "Servant to the Cause"? Sounds like someone dedicated, but somehow sinister too. I wondered what kind of cause this might be, and eventually figured a Phyrexian elf would fit this name quite well. (I've just realised I might have been possibly subconsciously influenced by Fuel for the Cause.)
This rules text isn't terribly elegant. It's a bit of a big splat over all the Phyrexian mechanics.
Nice. It's either Dismiss or Dismal Failure.
Wouldn't this normally create a copy of itself, rather than other tokens with the same ability?
Oh, this is that American usage of the word "tap" that I occasionally encounter on forums. Right.
Flavor implecations, Alex! Flavor implecations! Though, if you don't see what's wrong with tapping a rabbit and a changeling and making a new rabbit in the process, I certainly won't spell that one out. ;)
Hmm? Why so? It's not like you're tapping Hazduhr or Jeska for their abilities, and it's not like the new rabbit copies any ability except the one on this token. Unless you're doing weirdness with Quicksilver Elemental... but in fact, even then, "this ability" refers to the one currently resolving, so it doesn't matter what those other rabbits were like at all. As long as they're not Imperturbable Guardians :)
Created Selesnya Nurturer. Not sure whether to make a token or not... given that I'd probably put it in a deck with Séance / Cackling Counterpart, the token should probably be a Sphinx of Uthuun :P
