Okay, one more because I couldn't help myself. Piece of Loom -- Bifurcast
For Challenge # 065.
Also Sludge Skeletons and Degenerate -- Degeneration
For Challenge # 065. You know, I like that mechanic, but geez... the reminder text is out of control.
For Challenge # 065. Degeneration is supposed to fetch a creature of one converted mana cost less that shares one creature type. Degenerate taught me, however, that if I want this effect to be more universal, I needed to ditch the creature type attachment. Besides, there's already too much reminder text on this card as it is. About as much as regeneration...
Banalish Cavalcade -- Flaking
For Challenge # 065. I originally gave this creature kicker, and if you paid the kicker you got three +1/+1 counters instead... but kicker hanging out in this challenge was confusing, since it wanted to become a different mechanic. Cargo counters it is, even if it isn't synergistic with the mechanic. I'm sure you can do interesting things with a block that features flaking... I'd just rather make another card than design a whole block in my head to make this card more relevant.
Solid and Sold!
Oh, my aching head. I don't think I've ever counted the number of triggered abilities before. I infer this would be a very weird set.
Cool mechanic. The card is crazy expensive, however. I'd guess it would cost
, just based on Glitterfang (and the fact that that card lived in a world where re-casting Spirits was a very, very good thing.
Crashback! Return that land from your graveyard back to your hand!
I don't have a problem with 5 damage to a creature. Thunderclap was a fine card, but I don't think anyone was threatened by it... and it was very rare for players to sacrifice that mountain, so most times it just played as a 3 damage spell for 3. Meh.
Now if this card tried to get better than Snuff Out, I think you'd have a decent argument...
Phosphour Bolt -- Fourcast
Challenge # 065
Myr Inforcer -- Infinity
For Challenge # 065
ROFL. That's a hilarious challenge! :)
Hmmm. It's somewhat too similar to Arcbound Wanderer, but yeah, I'll let you have it for the name being just one letter away from one of the component abilities.
