Martial Coup and Alliance of Arms are what spring to mind, but Vitenka's right that Goblin Offensive is a more direct comparison.
Given Martial Coup, I guess this is probably appropriately costed?
Decree of Justice gives you it for

with an alternate casting mode that puts 4/4 angels into play. So probably

without.
Firecat Blitz is an awesome name; and gives you them with haste UEOT at

.
Goblin Offensive costs it as

But the most direct comparison; Martial Coup costs it at

with an optional Wrath.
Snake Basket is
, kinda.
+turn kinda. And Warbreak Trumpeter is just ODD. Kinda sorta

but you get a free 2/2 or 1/1 out of it and it's kinda instant speed and kinda not.
Verdeloth the Ancient gives you it, but as a tack on to something else that directly interacts with them - and charges you accordingly.
Elspeth's Reinforcements
For Challenge # 087
Has there been an "X 1/1" spell before? I thought there was, but I couldn't only find similar spells such as Martial Coup. It makes me think X chump blockers might be too good in limited, but I don't think they should be.
Should it cost more/less? Be an instant? It's a bit boring for most turns; maybe it would be better to simply make it N for CMC N for a value not used before?
Either way it seems obvious for Elspeth, even if it's a reprint. Useful but not that strong, but a lot better with a white planeswalker around. Especially since white is taking over from green in "X 1/1 creatures".
Come to think of it, I complained it was hard to make Gideon spells, but wizards did Gideon's Lawkeeper and friend and that was fine, so I shoudn't have been as constrained.
Moon Pies! With Real Moon Flavour!
But as "Um, ok, I want half a twiddle, as a cantrip; cost.. 2? that's a bit weak, let's have another small effect on there; ah, this is flavourful and sometimes interesting" I like it. Though having to use this to bolster Terror or similar would be annoying.
Tamiyo is moon-flavoured, and Pale Moon and Moonlace have set up a (fairly weak) association between "moon" and "colourless".
you can also carry the flavour by having it add the Dragon subtype rather than a 4/4 version of itself???
No, good call. I started off by paralleling gideon's ability, but the normal template is at least as good for that.
added "or a planeswalker you control"
The dragon flavor could always be carried solely by the art, letting this have a name like "Sarkhan's Transformation" or something.
I like the flavor, but what does Tamiyo really have to do with turning things colorless?
Is there a reason this isn't "or a planeswalker you controls"?
Oh yes, that is lovely :)
w=>2w
Wizards seem to be okay with
getting you a conditional +4/+4. This is +5/+5 on a 1/1, +4/+4 on a 2/2, etc... I guess I don't know. Might depend on the environment and the power levels of other cards in the set.
The use of [-2] and [+1] on the actual "card" Challenge # 087 itself :)
Besides 'simplest version of the spell', no not really. I rather like this upgrade, to be honest. It's especially good in a group game right after someone casts Tower Above. :D
The formatting?
I think you could reasonably use the text on Draconify even if you can't use the name.
Hm. Not sure. I think it's normally Smite or Ranger's Guile, but sometimes it'll be lightning-bolt-to-the-head and sometimes it'll be giant-growth++... I costed it very aggressively as I normally overvalue minor combat tricks, but maybe it should be 1W if it's ever better than GG.
Nice.
Sarkhan's Draconification?
OK, maybe that's a little long, but it's rare that draconification is plausible as a sensible compromise solution and I want to make the most of it :)
Created Sarkhan's Confidant, Sarkhan's Influence and Draconify.
There's a more interesting alternative, Draconify. The only reason I rejected that option is because I couldn't think of a way to give it the "Sarkhan's [blah]" signature spell name template.
