Eeep. "
: Gain control of target creature." is a very scary line to read on any card. The closest I can see to a precedent are Memnarch, Olivia Voldaren or Captivating Vampire. The first two need 7 mana to yoink a creature permanently, and the last one needs 5 Vampires.
This... might be printable under current mythic guidelines. But wow.
(The middle line would probably get cut, as it's not especially connected to the identity of the card as defined by the first and last ability. But that will often be the case with triple mashes.)
Nice. Yes, I can see that being played in tournaments, it's clearly a lot more exciting than the original Ordruun Commando, but the inspiration is clearly visible; and the power level is... pretty close to many mythics today. Good job.
I created Fan Collector from Kiss of the Amesha, Mirari and Soul Collector.
Then I created Seethmage Catapultist from Seething Song, Dwarven Catapult and Nullmage Advocate.
Alternate triple-mashed flavour text: "If your outnumbered army can withstand the flame, their unity will burn away the enemy's deceit."
I think the wording does need to be better, but I'm not sure quite what would fit the normal templating. "Add
to your mana pool for each creature dealt damage this way?"
The exact wording makes a difference if, eg, one of them has protection from red, etc.
Um, both are the same value.
needs to clarify what "that many" refers to.
Fascinating. I could see this in a +1/+1-counter-heavy block, or perhaps a set like Chris's Arcunda. I like that it hits planeswalkers automatically, love turning it into a ritual as well, and love that it scales great in big multiplayer games. Pity it'll often do nothing in 2-player, but that's just an incentive for Johnny to pair it with, say, Sheltering Ancient, or Contagion Engine.
Dwarven Seethbolishing
Created (((Tethermage Researcher))) from Binding Tether, Azorius Guildmage & Talas Researcher.

as that would mean you could use the steal ability on turn 5 (around when you could cast a steal creature enchantment/sorcery etc). I used Divination as a guide for the draw ability cost, its
for 2 cards but as the ability is repeatable you only get 1 card.
Used the Guildmage as the body & Binding Tether & the researcher as the two abilities (balanced for modern card design).
I set the cc at
Ha, I totally forgot the tap symbol. I guess a Seething Song that fuels itself really is dangerous. :P
Wow. Awesome. Kinda scary: Rampant Growth and Seething Song are both very powerful things to turn any card in your hand into, especially multiple times per turn.
Turn 1 land, elf (6c in hand). Turn 2 land, this (5c in hand). Turn 3 land (5c)... then each card in hand works like a double Simian Spirit Guide, giving you... 14 mana. Mmm, anything that lets you hard cast Emrakul on turn 4 (or just a Hellkite Charger and a Rorix Bladewing on turn 3) is perhaps a bit much.
This challenge is insanely hard because many of the cards are already about many things at once (so, for example, neither a mere life gain nor a draw spell really evoke Kiss of the Amesha).
Made Zhur-Taa Guildmage.
Card from Talas, Kavu evasion turned into paper evasion. And regenerate from the embrace.
I admit, it's a lot loser than most of my mashes; but I liked that name. Probably could be down costed, but eh, all the source cards are high cost.
I have to say, I can't really see Talas Researcher in here. Or Hooded Kavu. (And I kinda have to squint to see Gaea's Embrace.)
