Oh, and just to be confusing, I also made Magnetic Mine #3.
For Challenge # 099, and building forward from Magnetic Mine #2. If it's not obvious, the idea here is that the mana is 'magnetized'. You get it in a clump and can't separate it to cast multiple spells with.
To be honest, I kind of wanted to force players to use all of the mana at once, or none of it (in other words, you wouldn't be able to use the
to cast Hill Giant, since you only need
, and you're forced to use
,) but I wasn't sure how to parse that. Guess I got to go with the easier way to explain it, which is restriction enough.
Whoops. Just noticed this destroyed artifact creatures. Um... uh... art? Yeah, that's it... the artist will save me...
I'm game. I added Bamboo Rocket Hedge based on the ability from Magnetic Mine #2. And while it wasn't part of the challenge, I took the time to add flavor text. Made sense to me.

The next could either be another card with that name, if there's any more ideas to be mined out, or a new flavour for my card (or the original card). Note: I allowed the rules to turn an artifact-sac into a coloured spell because otherwise I think it's too hard to switch between colours and colourless.
I love this card. I'm not sure white would get this as a 6/6 for
at rare, but it might at mythic.

Hmm. If they've not got one of them in hand by five turns after you cast your 5-mana walker, perhaps. Only if they have no way to recur them or don't have their own walker/whatever on the battlefield by then. I suppose her + might help strip them out of their hand...

re. utimate : against decks with few win conditions, (eg control and combo, some midrange) it could be game-ending to deny them the chance to draw them.
